Chandrika’s Parenting Philosophy:

Say to yourself, what would you be; then do what you have to do – Epictetus

Parenting can be challenging even though we always have the child’s best interest at heart. The parenting classes conducted by Chandrika helps parents address the many challenges that they face in their parenting journey. She does not offer a ‘one size fits all’ or any ‘quick-fixes’ as strategies as she passionately believes that parenting is an inside-out process; a process of learning, unlearning and relearning who we are: first as ourselves, and then, as parents. The classes are designed in way that helps parents gradually understand their own parenting styles, the beliefs they hold and their behaviors- some which may serve them well and some which they may want to change- so as to enable them to parent from their authentic selves. The classes have been designed using the principles of Cognitive behavior Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Mindfulness and from many Philosophical readings.
